Readsmith collects very little, and this page is the complete list. The site sets no cookies, runs no third-party trackers, and shows no ads. Your data is never sold or shared for marketing.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address with Resend, our email service, for exactly two purposes: inviting you to early access of Readsmith Cloud, and one launch announcement. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can have your address removed at any time by writing to the contact below.

Ask AI and search

Questions asked on this page and in the documentation are sent to an AI model through our gateway to generate the answer. The documentation site stores questions and answers, not linked to your identity, so we can see where the docs fall short and improve them.

Technical data

IP addresses are used transiently for rate limiting and appear in ordinary server logs. Cloudflare sits in front of the site as our CDN and security layer and processes traffic under its own privacy terms. Your light-or-dark theme choice is stored in your own browser, never on our servers.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you (it is at most your email address and nothing else attributable), have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to [email protected] and it will be handled promptly.

Changes

If what we collect ever changes, this page changes first, with a new effective date.
